MOTORHEAD DISCOGRAPHY+++++++++++++MAIN10+++++++++++

MOTORHEAD DISCOGRAPHY
+++++++++++++MAIN10+++++++++++

Originally to be called Bastard, Motorhead had a definite punk influence. They played with / supported bands such as the Damned and Adverts (Rat Scabies, Lemmy and Gaye Advert opposite) and were the love of my life for a while when I became disillusioned with punk and what it became. Just check out the start of Motorhead / City Kids (1977 Chiswick) to hear the apocalypse ! Influenced many later punk bands in terms of speed etc.

INSANE CLOWN POSSE DISCOGRAPHY+++++++++++++MAIN10++++++++

INSANE CLOWN POSSE DISCOGRAPHY

+++++++++++++MAIN10++++++++

The Insane Clown Posse (ICP) is an American rap duo originally from Wayne, Michigan but formed in the Detroit neighborhood of Delray, consisting of Violent J (Joseph Bruce) and Shaggy 2 Dope (Joseph Utsler). The group was originally part of a larger group known as Inner City Posse, who broke up in 1992. They almost always display themselves in character in full black and white "evil clown" makeup, typically in the form of a "happy face." The group has obtained one platinum album and four gold albums [1] as well as their own feature film, their own wrestling federation, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, and has a dedicated following of fans, known as Juggalos and/or Juggalettes. In 2003, Blender magazine named the group "The Worst Artist(s) in Music History".

In their early years before Inner City Posse they were known as Intelligence and Violence and before that they were The JJ Boyz with Shaggy's brother John Utsler nicknamed John Kickchass.[citation needed] The group was originally part of a larger street group known as Inner City Posse. The group's rappers included Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse, as well as Shaggy's older brother, John Kickchass, and several other members who didn't make music. The group formed in 1987 and began to make music in 1989, where the group released their first single, "Party at the Top of the Hill", and their first home-cassette tape, Enter The Ghetto Zone. In 1990, the group released two more tapes, titled Intelligence and Violence, and Bassment Cuts, the latter was their first tape to be released in stores. In 1991, the group was able to produce their first and last professionally-released EP, title Dog Beats. The album did very well in the underground music scene. The group finally split in 1992. Afterwards, members Violent J and Shaggy donned clown makeup and decided to form their own duo called Insane Clown Posse, still keeping the ICP initials.

Linkin Park is a rock band from Agoura Hills, California. They formed in 1996, and have since sold more than forty million albums and won two Grammys.They first achieved mainstream success in 2000 with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, which has since been certified Diamond by RIAA.Their following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200’s album charts in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world.
Linkin Park is recognized for adapting the nu metal genre into a radio-friendly style and creating many successful singles, such as In The End, Numb, and What I've Done.They are also known for their several collaborations, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mash-up album Collision Course, and a plethora of other artists on Reanimation.The band’s latest studio album, Minutes to Midnight, which was released in May 2007, has stemmed away from their previous nu metal sound venturing into various other genres.[7] The album topped the Billboard Charts by selling nearly 625,000 copies in its debut week, making it the best debut week of any album for the year.

Originally consisting of three close high school friends from Agoura High School, Linkin Park’s foundation was anchored by Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon. After graduating from high school, the California natives later began to take their musical interests more seriously, recruiting Joe Hahn, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, and Mark Wakefield to perform in their band then titled Xero. Though limited in resources, the band began recording and producing songs within Shinoda’s make-shift bedroom studio in 1996.[10] Tensions and frustration within the band began to increase after they failed to land a record deal. The lack of success and stalemate in progress prompted Wakefield, at that time the band’s vocalist, to leave the band in search for other projects. Later, Farrell would also leave the band in order to tour with Tasty Snax ,as well as other bands.After spending a considerable time searching for Wakefield’s replacement, Xero recruited Arizona vocalist Chester Bennington. Jeff Blue, the vice president of Zomba Music, referred Bennington to the band in March of 1999. Bennington, formerly of a band named Grey Daze, became a standout among applicants for his unique and vivid singing style. The newborn vocal chemistry between Shinoda and Bennington helped revive the band, inciting them to work on new material. The band’s renaissance culminated with a change in name; from Hybrid Theory, the band changed their name to Linkin Park, a play on and homage to Santa Monica’s Lincoln Park. However, despite these changes, the band still struggled to sign a record deal. After facing numerous rejections from several major record labels, Linkin Park turned to Jeff Blue for additional help. After failing to catch Warner Bros. Records on three previous reviews, Jeff Blue, now the vice president of Warner Bros. Records, helped the band sign a deal with the company in 1999. Now aside with Warner Bros. Records, the band released their breakthrough album, Hybrid Theory, the following year.

CLAWFINGER DISCOGRAPHY++++++++++MAIN10+++++++++

CLAWFINGER DISCOGRAPHY

++++++++++MAIN10+++++++++

Clawfinger is an industrial rap-metal band from Sweden and was one of the earliest bands to adopt this sound. Clawfinger is known for aggressive but melodic music and tackling political and anti-racist themes in their songs.
The band's origin dates back to the summer of 1989 when Zak Tell and Jocke Skog met while working together at the Rosegrove Hospital somewhere in the vicinity of Stockholm. In 1990 they were joined by the Norwegian guitarists Bård Torstensen and Erlend Ottem that was also working at the same hospital. Soon the four realized their similar interests in music. Bård and Erlend previously played in a band called Theo in their hometown Arendal back in Norway. Their free time was invested in exploring the musical world, composing and writing songs while evolving into a band.
Their original demo comprising of three tracks (Waste of Time, Nigger and Profit Preacher) quickly secured them local radio airplay and consequently brought them to the attention of the MVG label. Nigger is an elaborate and profound anti-racism statement that caused quite a stir and was a massive success; it was also released as a single. By the beginning of the 1990s, Clawfinger self-released their debut Deaf Dumb Blind. This sold in over 600,000 copies worldwide and was critically acclaimed in Swedish press. With the addition of André Skaug and drummer Morten Skaug, Clawfinger went on tour and played at countless European festivals including major support slots with Anthrax and Alice in Chains.
The band received many awards among which two home Grammies at the Swedish Grammy Awards in 1994 for Best Hard Rock Band and Best Video. After touring, they went straight back in the studio to record their second album, Use Your Brain. After the release of this album they went on yet another touring campaign, most notably participating at Ozzy Osbourne's Monsters of Rock Festival in South America and rocking alongside American metal counterparts like Megadeth, Faith No More, and Alice Cooper. Back in Europe they continued their touring campaign by participating at festivals and countless gigs.
Clawfinger resurfaced with their self-titled third album after two years, in 1997. They also issued three singles (Biggest & the Best, Don't Wake Me Up and Two Sides). Then, following a four year wait, Clawfinger released their fourth album, A Whole Lot of Nothing. This was the most complex instrumental offering of the band yet and it featured a more elaborate and noticeable synthesizer sound that created a new dimension in their musical content.

In 2003 it was time for Zeros & Heroes to see the light of day, an album with a harsher tone and more aggressive instrumental tone, with less electronic elements and also showcasing a very controversial lyrical content on some of the tracks. The month of October of the same year saw guitarist Erlend Ottem leave both the band and the music industry in pursuit of a career as a software specialist. The band and Erlend parted ways on friendly terms.

The same year, they surprised their fans by producing for a boyband, taking their old song The Truth, re-writing and re-arranging it into In Da House, a hit single for the Norwegian band L8R.
In 2005 the band released Hate Yourself With Style, their most aggressive album to date. According to keyboard player Jocke Skog it was something we needed to do to get a restart after Erlend left. The album was written, produced, and mixed by Clawfinger in Fear And Loathing Studios, Spånga Sweden. The studio they own together with another Swedish band, Meshuggah.
In more than a decade of activity, Clawfinger have issued already more than 10 singles and 6 albums, five of which has at least 2 bonus tracks in the limited edition. They have currently finished work on their seventh album, Life Will Kill You, due for release on July 27, 2007.
Clawfinger are well known for their personal relationship with their fans. Zak Tell often answers questions from the fans on the official website forums, and each week there is a live IRC chat session where fans can chat with band members.

RAMMSTEIN DISCOGRAPHY+++++++++++MAIN10+++++++++++

RAMMSTEIN DISCOGRAPHY

+++++++++++MAIN10+++++++++++

Rammstein is a German NDH-Metal band. The band is also widely accepted as part of the Neue Deutsche Härte-scene, alongside bands such as Oomph! and Die Krupps. Critics have also dubbed their sound as Tanz-Metall (lit. "Dance metal").[1][2][3] Their songs are performed almost exclusively in German. Formed in 1994, they have sold over 12 million records worldwide.[4] Rammstein's entire catalogue is published by Universal Music Group.
Although most songs are written in German, the band has had significant success outside German-speaking nations, in Europe as well as in the rest of the Western world and also in Asia. It has been confirmed that the band has reunited from their vacation and has begun writing their sixth studio album, which will be released sometime in 2008.

Riedel, Schneider and Kruspe originally founded Rammstein, following an attempt by Kruspe to compose American-influenced music with a West Berlin band called Orgasm Death Gimmicks. As Kruspe put it, "I realized it's really important to make music and make it fit with your language, which I didn't do in the past. I came back [to Germany] and said, 'It's time to make music that's really authentic.' I was starting a project called Rammstein to really try to make German music." He invited Till Lindemann, a former Olympic swimmer and drummer for the band First Arsch, to join the project as a vocalist. The four entered a contest for new bands and won, attracting the interest of Paul H. Landers, who knew them all and decided to join the band. Christian "Flake" Lorenz was the last member to join; he had played with Landers before in the band Feeling B and was initially reluctant to come on board, but was eventually persuaded to join. Their first album was released a year later.

Rammstein was started by Richard Z. Kruspe in 1994. In 1989 he escaped from East Germany over the border between Austria and Hungary where he eventually ended up in West Berlin and started a band in 1991 (Orgasm Death Gimmicks). At that time he was very influenced by American music and after the wall came down, he moved back home to Schwerin where Till Lindemann worked as a basket weaver and played drums in the band First Arsch.
At this time, Richard lived with Oliver Riedel (of the band The Inchtabokatables) and Christoph "Doom" Schneider (of Die Firma). Richard realized that the music he had previously made was not right for him. He envisioned something with machines and hard guitars together. The three started working together on a new project.
Richard soon found it hard to write music and lyrics at the same time. He got Till to join them as he had often heard him singing while working. A contest for new bands was announced and the prize was studio time. The four of them recorded the first Rammstein demo and won. Paul Landers knew them all and wanted to know what they were doing. After listening, he agreed to join. At this point, all they needed for the machine-sound was a keyboarder. They tried to get Christian "Flake" Lorenz to join, as he had played with Paul before in the band Feeling B. Flake was not entirely thrilled with the idea at first and had to be pestered for weeks before finally joining. About the time the band was formed, they all had relationship problems which provided the foundation for their debut album Herzeleid in 1995.
Rammstein's second album, Sehnsucht, was released on 22 August 1997. The cover art was created by famous Austrian artist Gottfried Helnwein [1]. It sold very well, and today it is the only album entirely in German to be certified Platinum by the RIAA in the United States. The next year Rammstein went on tour, with the live album Live aus Berlin being released in 1998.
